This ECU can be supplied in 3 different conditions: Unlocked (decoded), Reset or Recoded. 

Option 1: Unlocked (decoded) 

The ECU is supplied ready to Plug and Play, no wiring or modification are required on the car. 

If this option is chosen it is highly recommended to have an after market immobiliser fitted to your vehicle, as well it is your responsibility to inform your insurance company about this modification. 

Option 2: Reset 

A Reset ECU means that it will be ready to be programmed to the car by Main Dealer or any qualified technician with the adequate diagnostic equipment.

Note this option is the only one that is not Plug & Play as the ECU must be programmed to the vehicle.

Option 3: With free Recode (recommended) 

With the Free Recode this ECU will be supplied pre-programmed with your car default settings (ABS, A/C, Cruise Control, etc) and immobiliser data, meaning it will be ready to Plug & Play, no need for key programming or any other modification.

For the free Recode you need to send your old ECU to us so we can transfer the data from your ECU into the replacement ECU, once recoded (1-2 working days), the replacement ECU will be posted to you ready to Plug & Play.
